New quilts

Looks like I've caught a bug....

The thing I'm most liking about making quilts is the speed factor. I love knitting, but it takes a lot of time. These babies - even though they're definitely only lap or cot sized at around 100 x 80 cm - work up pretty fast. This is partly helped by the fact that I'm not fussing over being super neat or accurate - that can come later, for now, just getting these done feels pretty good. I'm finding that having a nice looking - I'm not rushing the process that much! - and usable thing in a relatively short space of time (say a week-end) is just incredibly gratifying. I love that I can up/re-cycle.
